Appeal to Donors & Partners: Help Revive the Genesis Borehole for Sustainable Community Transformation

At Genesis Community Development Assistance (Genesis CDA), we are a grassroots NGO committed to transforming lives through community empowerment, sustainable livelihoods, Education, and resilience building in underserved communities.

We are blessed with a strategic community asset — 6.3 acres of land with an Office Block, Training Centre, and Exhibition Hall that serve as a hub for learning, innovation, and community development.

However, one critical resource at the heart of this vision is currently non-functional:

Our borehole, once a lifeline for the community and a catalyst for Agricultural productivity, is no longer operational. To restore it to full functionality, we urgently require:

KES 1.5 Million (Approx. USD 11,500)

This investment will cover rehabilitation works including:

• 1. Borehole diagnostics and repair
• 2. Pump replacement and installation
• 3. Solar/electrical system restoration
• 4. Water storage and distribution systems
• 5. Testing and recommissioning

Once revived, the Genesis Borehole will become a powerful engine for sustainable impact:

Reliable water will support irrigation on the 6.3-acre farm, enabling year-round farming, drought resilience, and increased food production.

The farm will serve as a live training hub where farmers learn:
